Can anyone know why the game run propertly but it's impossible to start a new game, blocked to animated main menu ?
It seem the touchscreen don't work, but where it play a video in place of the main menu, I can pass it by touching the screen.

Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold Emulation Discussion

Hello,

Any idea how to fix problem with Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver? Game starts fine and it crashes/goes black screen after your character is being made smaller and enters its room. (just after typing character's name, when you are supposed to begin the game in your room).

Using No$gba save file in NO$Zoomer

Hi, I'm currently playing PW:AA in No$gba 2.8b and I'm stuck in that part you have to use the microphone to blow some dust to reveal a fingerprint.
I don't have a microphone, but I found a workaround to this using NO$Zoomer.
Now, I tried putting my No$gba save file in the BATTERY folder of NO$Zoomer, but when a try to load the game, it gives me a fatal error.
Do I need to convert the save or something or you simply can't use a No$gba save file in NO$Zoomer?

OK considering that there's a handful of external programs for No$gba and most probably more to come I think it would minimize the Questions and threads if there's 1 thread for all of this stuff.
Feel free to add some (if not already mentioned) with detailed info of what it does.

How to create files.lst for nogba?

If you start nogba it gives you options to start with your files.lst,
But how did you make them?

It would be a cool feature in terms of organize for nogba

I have searched this forum for an answer,
one of them just questions and other that say nogba file.lst creator,
the download link is down

Could someone tell me how to create files.lst for nogba or reupload the
application for nogba file.lst creator?

Save problems

So here's the deal: I'm playing Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice and using No$GBA 2.8b because desmume's really slow in my computer. But there's a moment in the game that I have to blow with the microphone and I don't have one.
My ideas was to import the save file to desmume, where I can use play only the blow part there and then convert again to no$gba, but then there's another problem: I can only save as snapshot and I don't know how to save as .sav file

Can anyone help me, please?

Is there anyway to unbind ESC

So I have some weird habit of pressing ESC which makes the no$gba close, I hate this and I've once lost an hour of playing pokemon (I was too stressed to save), is there anyway I can make so ESC doesn't outright close no$gba?

Transfering no$gba save files to vba

Uh, guys, i just tried something and i was amazed.
I have vba link and a No$gba (ofc).
I have noticed that vbalink makes SA1 save files,
NO$GBA makes SAV files (like normal vba)
so i copied SAV file (no$) to folder of the game (that is where vba creates save states), deleted the SAV file (vba), and renamed no$ save file into NameOfTheGame.SA1 and started it with vba
AND IT WORKS !!!

(this is very useful for pokemon games - train it on mhz disaster 10%, and go underwater on vba)...

No$gba save problems 2.8 to 2.6

I had a problem when i need use a save of pokemon platinum of No$gba 2.8b (.SAV) in the no$gba 2.6a (.sav), this shows that message when I open the game in that no$gba:

No$gba Fatal

"name of the game".SAV

I tried with save/load states from 2.8 to 2.6a and the message appears again

The save is corrupted because i used the 2.8 version? (i can't import the save to desmume too)
Is possible solve that? how?

I don't use pokesav in that save or the uncompressed save format.

Hello. I will just leave a message before you read this. If this thread is in bad place im sorry im new. Sorry also for my bad english.

So.
I'm using NO$Zoomer 2.3.0.2 and there is a problem.
*SPOILER*
When first Bowser battle starts and where toadsworth learns Mario basical attacks nothing is happening. When i am attacking toadsworth don't learns me attack Bowser is not attacking me... Im just jumping on his head. Can someone help me please?

I'm having small freezes with NO$GBA

Hi, I just wanted to know if I can somehow fix this little problem I'm having with NO$GBA.
I'm using the v2.8d version and playing Pokemon Platinum (Actually, a ROM Hack called Flawless Platinum, but it shouldn't be a big deal) and I'm having this small freezes every now and then.

I caught 2 of them in a video less than 30 seconds long.
Look closely at 0:06 and 0:26 and please, try to ignore the Audio Desync, that's just a recording issue:...

Hi, I downloaded No$Gba 2.8 to play pokemon games heart gold/soul silver and well..I can play for some time, like 4-5 minutes and after that it either crashes or freezes.
I want some tips or a advice on what to do..

I'm very new to doing this sort of thing. I had looked up how to play Pokemon Soul Silver on PC and I downloaded everything required and had no problems. However, today I kept experiencing a black screen problem where when ever I would save, the game would crash with a pop up message saying something about a rom crash. I then started to mess around in my Emulation Setup and changed my NDS Mode/Colors from Ds-Like (retail/4MB) to DSi (retail/16MB) and saved the changes and then lost my save...

N0$gba freeze - pokemone emerald

im playing Pokemon emerald on no$gba and i finish battling archie and he goe son about the red orb then text comes up "The RED ORB suddenly began shining by itself!" and kyogre doesn't flee it just sits there frozen sounds stops but the water still moves i press all the buttons and nothing happens :( help please im stuck and i tried converting the save file to vba format but when i try to open the save file it says Unsupported VisualBoyAdvance Save Game version 131720
